2015 Softball Game

On July 18th, the 2nd annual Alumni vs Undergraduate softball game took place. The game was held in Fairmount Park on a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky allowing the temperature to reach nearly 100 degrees. The only shade near the field was occupied by Steve Cohen and Mark Stitz.

This game was expected to be a tough one for the alumni as the undergrads had just won the IFC softball championship. The Alumni took the field first, and the undergrads began scoring at will. Things did not go well for the Alumni probably due to the absence their star first baseman, John McGarrigle.

Despite an alumni loss, the game was a lot of fun for both sides. Next year the alumni might have a fighting chance as some of the skilled undergrads will graduate and be switching to the better side.
