Membership Meeting
May 3, 2008



John McGarrigle called the meeting to order. The following members were present:

Brian Gleason provided an update on the re-colonization project.

John McGarrigle provided an update on activities at Drexel University with respect to the Greek System.

Chuck Persing made a presentation with respect to proposed revised and restated by-laws. Extensive discussion took place, particularly with respect to the roles of The Chapter Advisory Board and the Housing Board and their respective responsibilities. The draft proposed by-laws were modified consistent with the consensus of the group. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the proposed revised and restated by-laws, as modified at the meeting, were adopted by a vote of 28 to 1. A copy of the revised and restated by-laws as modified and adopted by the membership are attached to and made a part of these Minutes.

Elections for directors of the Housing Board were conducted. The following individuals were elected to three year terms expiring at the annual meeting in 2011:
  • John McGarrigle
  • Jim McGoldrick
  • Charles Persing
The following individuals were elected to two year terms expiring at the annual meeting in 2010:
  • Todd Levari
  • Jack Falkenbach
  • Rich Sasin
The following individuals were elected for a one year term expiring at the annual meeting in 2009:
  • Ken Johnsen
  • George Montgomery
  • Dennis Carr
The following individuals were elected as the Officers designated:
  • John McGarrigle: Chairman
  • Jim McGoldrick: Treasurer
  • Charles Persing: Chairman of the Advisory Board
Charles Persing nominated the following individuals to serve on the Advisory Board for two year terms:
  • Mark Stitz
  • Joseph Kenney
  • Steve Cohen
  • John Ferry
Charles Persing nominated the following individuals to serve on the Advisory Board for one year terms:
  • Tom Hungerford
  • Andy Soltzfus
  • Brian Gleason
  • Michael Cona


The majority of the elected members of the Housing Board being present, they unanimously ratified the nominations of the Advisory Board Chair for the membership on the Advisory Board for the terms as noted.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
